What do I have this time around? Not much. No cool, in depth article on horror novels. No awesome music reviews or film recs for that matter. I know, I know, I’m bummed out too. But my excuse is good. I promise! I went and got a day job. A good one at that. One that gives me much needed, valuable, stable time to write.
For those of you that are waiting for me to come through, I apologize. I let the deadlines come and go because I got hit with the life truck. Not a great way to start the new year, for sure. But the work is getting done now that I am on both feet and I will be emailing you shortly. Thank you for your time.
Now, as for that day job… I am a crossing guard.
Is it exciting?
But, as my dad used to say, “A job is a job and money is money.” So, to those ends, I think I scored a writers dream job (uh, besides writing full-time). Work in the morning, get off by 1:30 and write till dinner with many beers.
Life is good.

The Horror Show with Brian Keene!
And you thought I was going to leave you all without a parting gift!
The Horror Show is an excellent podcast about our horror industry and If you have never heard it before, as Brian says, “You should un-fuck that right now!” I listen to it every week and it is damn good.
Well, that is it for tonight. Feet hurt from standing all day and this Guinness Nitro IPA is not going to drink itself!
Till next week, my friends, stay scared.
